Reserves 3-10.28 lost to Plenty Valley 18-8.116

The Masters welcomed Bruno as a new player and with a lot of changes from last game we took the first quarter to get setup as a team. After quarter time we put Mark into the ruck to free up Robbo as a running onballer and performed better against the wind in the second quarter than we had in the first.  Riego and Growcott gave us drive across the ground and Marco covered the flanks. After half time we matched Plenty Valley for scoring shots but inaccurate kicking, 3.10, cost us.

Supers 4-4.28 lost to Plenty Valley 11-11.77

The Supers had similar problems to the Masters and Legends, as they were competitive at times but without a bench to rotate,  were beaten by Plenty Valley having the fresh legs to run and maintain structure. Some good tackles by Belly did slow their ball movement. When we were patient in our ball movement Ben, Cam, Collo, Bergs, Swindo and Priesty were able to get links deep into the forward line. In the supers we welcomed Ben and have played the three top sides and in weeks to come should have some very competitive games.

Legends 6-8.44 lost to Plenty Valley 11-11.77

Legends had a great first half, playing tight footy against the wind and then quick ball movement to Mario, Tambo, Willy, Paul H and Tony. We were leading at half time with Del and Eddie each kicking 2 goals. IT was a fantastic achievement given they had 8 more players. Unfortunately we had no bench and they ran us off our feet in the second half as they used their bench well.
